Val d'Allos is part of the Skiing and Snowboarding in Espace Lumière Espace Lumière Ski Area with access to 113 individual pistes. The three levels of Val d'Allos (1400m, 1500m and 1800m) are known as the Espace Lumiere and connect with the Pra-Loup, creating 230km of runs starting as high as 2600m. Val d'Allos 1800 (le Foux), is the highest ski resort in the Alpes du Sud.
In addition to the skiing in Val d'Allos itself (147km of pisted ski runs), the appropriate ski Lift Pass will allow you to ski or snowboard in the other Espace Lumière ski resorts of La Foux d'Allos Ski Resort.

With pistes above 2500 metres, skiing and snowboarding is almost assured throughout the season. There is an airport within two hours drive, so ski weekends, snowboard breaks and short ski holidays to Val d'Allos are perfectly feasible.
Val d'Allos offers good skiing, particularly, for Intermediate skiers and also offers some good boarding; there is a Snow Park.
